Andco Kitchens & Baths, Inc. has been the leading supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and countertops in the Rockford and surrounding area for over 90 years. We are looking to expand our design sales team.

This position is a combinaion of outside sales with some inside showroom floor days. The primary focus will be visiting of established accounts and cold calling. You will work with both builders and their customers or independent retail customers. It could be anything from a simple do-it-yourself project to a fully custom installed kitchen or bathroom.

Sales experience required and Kitchen Design experience helpful.

This is a full time position working 5 days a week in total with every other Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

• Meet with clients to determine their wants, needs, and preferences
• Present options to guide customers through the selection process and make suggestions, if needed
• Design and price a variety of projects from simple do-it-yourself plans to more complex high end kitchens
• Present the client with the scope of project and close the sale
• Provide detailed layouts and orders accurately to ensure the correct results
• Coordinate the clients' project and communicate so that proper deadlines are met
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner to provide excellent service
• Strive for customer experiences that encourage positive feedback and referrals
• Travel to local job locations to measure for cabinet fit or to meet with client if an issue arises
• Follow through after the sale to ensure customer expectations were met
• Follow up on leads and aggressively solicit new accounts
• Participate as a team member to achieve company goals
• Keep abreast of available products and trends in kitchen design

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working with both contractors and retail customers
• Have the ability to set goals and work independently to meet them
• Be able to effectively solve problems and develop appropriate solutions to unexpected issues
• Must be familiar with how to close a sale and follow up to ask for a referral
• Follow company procedures and guidelines and meet company goals
• Keep accurate and complete records in an organized manner
• Be prompt and present a professional demeanor
• Proficient in 20/20 kitchen design software
• Basic computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, Windows, and the Internet

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
